On the 12th of July 2014, the 14th and 15th NETCET meetings with fishermen on biology and conservation of cetaceans and sea turtles, their distribution in Adriatic and procedures of handling, incidentally caught turtles in order to reduce their mortality  were successfully held in Savudrija and Umag (Istria), Croatia.

Celebrating the "World Day of Sea Turtles," we invite you to join us in the release of four recovered sea turtles (Dragica I, Bella I, Tone, Molly) on 20th June 2014 at 7pm in front of Aquarium Pula. A Sea Turtle Release Event will take place in Pescara on June 10th! The event is organized by the City of Pescara within the NETCET Project (Network for the Conservation of Cetaceans and Sea Turtles in the Adriatic),IPA Adriatic CBC Programme, aimed at developing common strategies for the conservation of cetaceans and sea turtles in the Adriatic through regional cooperation.
