The meetings and workshops, organized and hosted by the State Institute for Nature Protection (SINP) and Marine Educational Centre - Pula Aquarium (MEC) were held in Pula City and Umag City. The lecturers presented NETCET project, the biology and threats of Sea Turtles in the Adriatic Sea and national Protocol of reporting and acting in case of encountering dead, sick or injured strictly protected marine animals, with practical lecture on handling techniques for stranded or injured Sea Turtles.

The 9 fishermen’s from Pula and 25 fishermen’s from Umag were present, we discussed about variety situations they had and agreed on further collaboration. After meeting, Guidelines for the first aid to Sea Turtles and Cetaceans were distributed with posters, stickers and T-shirts of the NETCET project.
