On Friday January the 31st 2014, the NETCET project was presented during the AdriaPAN meeting held in Trieste, within the PANforAMaR Project. The title of this meeting was "EU Program for the Adriatic Protected Areas: Life+ and more".
The day was dedicated to the presentation of EU projects and funding opportunities and discussion was around new project proposals and partnerships.
The presentation of NETCET was aimed at informing another network of mere importance of the existence of this project aimed at developing common strategies for the conservation of cetaceans and sea turtles in the Adriatic. Additionally, the activity regarding the creation of NETCET City Network was presented in order to involve Marine Protected Areas in this network and in particular by bringing their “reference” city into the network.
