The course "Improvement and standardization of the veterinary care for cetaceans and sea turtles" in Rijeka

From Monday 27th of May, until Friday 31st of May, the training course for "Improving and standardizing veterinary care, surgical approaches, necropsy protocol and stranding management for cetaceans and sea turtles" will be held in Rijeka (Croatia)

hosted by the State Institute for Nature Protection in collaboration with Veterinary branch Institute in Rijeka.

Within the NETCET project, the University of Padua in collaboration with University of Bari and NETCET partners State Institute for Nature Protection and University of Primorska organizes a course dedicated to the veterinarians. The theoretical and practical courses will display many practices and procedures for urgent actions on cetaceans and turtles stranded along the cost of the Adriatic Sea, as well as complete  biology, anatomy , physiology and  surgery procedures on cetaceans and seaturtles.

During the next weeks one more training course will be organized in Bari (Italy).
