Chioggia joins the NETCET City Network for the conservation of sea turtles and cetaceans

On the 12th March 2014 the Environment Deputy Mayor of Chioggia, Silvia Vianello, signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Venice. Both cities are thus strenghtening their friendship and the Deputy Mayor of Chioggia insisted on the importance that cities in the NETCET City Network can exchange knowledge and good practices for the conservation of protected species such as sea turtles and cetaceans. She also underlined the importance of NETCET project not only for the Adriatic marine environment, but also for the quality of the image of a tourstic city taking care of the environment.
