NETCET project will participate in the Adriplan Final Conference in Venice, 10th July 2015

This Friday 10th July, the NETCET project  will participate in the Adriplan Final Conference in Venice. The event will take place in the pavilion of AQUAE VENICE 2015 – the great universal exhibition dedicated to water, collateral of the Universal Exposition of Milan (www.aquae2015.org ).

The ADRIPLAN Project aims to support a commonly-agreed cross-border Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) in the Adriatic - Ionian Region.
After the presentations of Adriplan achievements, the Final Conference will give the occasion to high level speakers from European, National and Regional institutions to provide key note speeches on MSP. In addition, public officers and internationally recognised MSP experts will be gathered around two decisive round table sessions.

Representing NETCET will be Peter MACKELWORTH (Blue World Institute of Marine Research and Conservation). He will contribute to the roundtable to frame the MSP into the existing or foreseen research and innovation activity occurring in the Mediterranean Sea, taking into particular account the recently launched Bluemed Initiative (Research and Innovation Initiative for Blue Jobs and Growth in the Mediterranean Area).
